The northern arc — connecting Medchal toward Patancheru and Sangareddy — is at an earlier average stage compared to the south and east. Reasons include:
- More complex terrain in parts of the Medchal–Kompally stretch
- Some land acquisition proceedings that extended later into 2024–25
